Adam and Eve: The Lineage of William Mortensen Vaughan TENUOUSLY Traced From Adam and Eve

ccording to Genesis, Chapter 5, God created man and called him "Adam." This chapter also traces Adam's lineage nine generations, down to Noah, as follows:

Seth (one generation from Adam)
Enos (two generations from Adam)
Cainan (three generations from Adam)
Mahalaleel (four generations from Adam)
Jared (five generations from Adam)
Enoch (six generations from Adam)
Methusaleh (seven generations from Adam)
Lamech (eight generations from Adam)
Noah (nine generations from Adam)

Greek God Overlap

According to Anno Mundi, Noah (nine generations from Adam) is probably known in Greek and Roman mythology as "Uranus"; his son,

Ham (ten generations from Adam), as  "Cronus"; and Ham's son,
Mizraim (eleven generations from Adam), as  "Zeus," whom the Romans called "Jupiter."

Greek mythology traces Mizraim/Zeus/Jupiter's lineage six generations, down to Priam, the Last King of Troy, since it was sacked, circa 1,180 B.C., as follows:

Dardanus (twelve generations from Adam)
Erichthonius (thirteen generations)
Tros (fourteen generations from Adam) (for whom the City of Troy was named)
Ilus (fifteen generations from Adam) (not to be confused with his Uncle Ilus, Dardanus' first-born son, who died childless, before Erichthonius)
Laomedon (sixteen generations)
Priam (seventeen generations).

Priam and Hecuba had a daughter, named
Troan (eighteen generations from Adam). She married
Munon (also eighteen generations from Adam), a.k.a. Memnon. They had a son named
Thor (nineteen generations from Adam) - perhaps the mortal inspiration for the Norse god.

In the Prose Edda, Snorri Sturlosson says that Thor, a.k.a. Tror, and
Sybil (also nineteen generations from Adam), had the following descendants, as follows:

Loridi (twenty generations from Adam)
Einridi (twenty-one generations from Adam)
Vingethor (twenty-two generations from Adam)

My pedigree, according to FamilySearch.org, has indicated* that Loridi had a son named
Einridi Loridesson (twenty-one generations from Adam), who is, presumably, the son of Loridi mentioned above, with the following descendants, as follows:

Wingether Vingethorsson Einridisson (circa 135 B.C.) (twenty-two generations from Adam)

Taetwa (30-100) (thirty-four generations from Adam)
Geata Jat Trojan (circa 65) (thirty-five generations from Adam)
King Godwulf/Godolf (80-163) (thirty-six generations from Adam), a.k.a. Sklold
King Flocwald (circa 100) (thirty-seven generations from Adam), a.k.a. Blar, as was Bedvig

Frealthaf (circa 160) (thirty-nine generations from Adam)
Frithuwolf Bor of Freothalaf (189-245) (forty generations from Adam)
Odin/Woden von Sachsen (circa 220) (forty-one generations from Adam) - perhaps the mortal inspiration for the Norse god; he and
Frigg (also forty-one generations from Adam), a.k.a. Frigida (perhaps for whom frigidity and Friday were named) had a son known as
King Skjold Wodensson, King of the Danes (237-330) (forty-two generations from Adam)
King Fridleif Skjoldsson, King of Zealand (circa 250) (forty-three generations from Adam)

Ragnar "Hairy Breeches" Lodbrok Sigurdsen, King of Dacia Lethra (765-845) (
sixty-two generations from Adam)

NOTE:  On WikiTree, Michael Dwayne Hamilton posted a similar lineage of Trojans and Scandinavians, from Ilus, Laomedan, and Priam, down to himself. After comparing my lineage to his, I found that, with few exceptions, these lineages were identical, between Ilus and Ragnar Lodbrok Sigurdsen.

King Bjorn Ironside, King of Sweden (777-859) (sixty-three generations from Adam)
King Refil Bjornsen, King of Uppsala (796-873) (

Lord Thomas Howard (1443-1524), 2nd Duke of Norfolk (eighty-four generations from Adam)

Lord Edmund Howard had a daughter, named
Laura Ann Sackville (1515-1546) (eighty-six generations from Adam), who married

Joan Henson (1541-1598) (eighty-eight generations from Adam), who married
Sir James Claypool (1533-1599) (also eighty-nine generations from Adam); they had a daughter named
Elizabeth Cleypoole (1568-1626) (ninety generations from Adam), who married
John Osborn (1563-1636) (also ninety-one generations from Adam).

NOTE:  This is one place where this lineage gets especially TENUOUS, because I have yet to find solid evidence that Elizabeth Cleypoole was Sir James Claypool's daughter. However, she was, allegedly, from Bedfordshire, England, approximately 25 miles from Northhamptonshire, where Sir James Claypool was allegedly born. Furthermore, MyTrueAncestry indicates that my Y-DNA haplogroup (R1b1a1b1a1a2c1a) is an identical match to DNA extracted from ancient human remains found at Bedfordshire, dated to the Bronze Age (between 3,300 B.C. and 1,200 B.C.) Elizabeth and her husband, John Osborn, allegedly had the following descendants, as follows:

John Osborn (1604-1686) (

ninety-three generations from Adam)

Luke Wright Osborn (1845-1915) (one hundred generations from Adam), who married
Lizzie Lambert (1846-1883)(also
one hundred generations from Adam), and they had a daughter named
Edna Osborn (1868-1931) (
one hundred and one generations from Adam), who married
Sheldon Densmore Knowlton (1862-1910) (also
one hundred and one generations from Adam), and they had a daughter named
Maud Osborn (1892-1947) (
one hundred and two  generations from Adam), who married
William Swift Vaughan (1879-1952) (also

one hundred and three generations from Adam), and they had me,
William Mortensen Vaughan (1962-????) (
