MyTrueAncestry: Walkthrough and Review: Part 2: Civilizations

Civilizations*

MyTrueAncestry compares members' DNA to DNA extracted from ancient remains of people found at archaeological sites around the world, and they continue to update their findings (weekly, approximately) as more ancient DNA is found and analyzed.

As of Friday, May 20, 2022, they claim that the ancient DNA they compare to that of their users is from 112 civilizations - up from less than a hundred, when I originally subscribed. These 112 civilizations include civilizations from
Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe. These ancient civilizations include "Aboriginal Australian," "Ancient Egyptians," "Ancient Greeks," "Aztecs," the "Brahmin Dynasty of Sindh," "Canaanites and Semites," the Chinese "Han Dynasty," "Incans," "Indigenous Peoples of North America,"** Japanese "Jomon," "Mayans," "Muslim Iberia," Romans, Huns, and Vikings, as well as the African "Yoruba Peoples," et al. Also listed are civilizations which I had never heard of before joining MyTrueAncestry, including "Aquitani," "Alaskan Athabaskans," "Balari," "Gepids," "Guanches," "Ligurians," et al. Each listing includes a paragraph about the civilization.

Next, I discuss...

Populations!

**My wife, Libertad Green, is the only person in my family whom I believe shares DNA with American Indians.
